A brand story does not need a dramatic founding myth. It can begin with a problem you kept seeing, a choice you made about how to work, or a small detail customers remember. What matters is that the account helps someone understand why your business exists and what that means for them today. A sequence of true choices often says more than a list of abstract values.
Bring the material you already have: a timeline, product notes, an existing About page or a few sentences about why you started. Explain which moments are central and which belong in the background. If a date, quotation or milestone is uncertain, say so in the brief so it can be clarified before writing. The finished story should stay within the facts you can stand behind.
A defined story, with room to revise
English writing Standard covers one brand story up to 1,000 words, three title options and two revisions for $47 USD. The listed turnaround is five workdays, beginning the day after materials and direction are confirmed and excluding weekends and public holidays. Delivery is an editable DOCX and TXT manuscript. Scope, price and payment details are confirmed by email before work starts.
If you need a short brand introduction rather than a longer story, Basic is $17 USD for one introduction up to 300 words, one revision and three workdays. Choose according to what the page must explain. A new business with a clear purpose may need a brief introduction. A longer account can be useful when the reader needs context about a change, a process or the thinking behind your products.
Connect the history to the customer
Tell us who the story is for and where it will appear. An About page for first-time shoppers should answer different questions from a narrative intended for potential partners. Explain what the reader already knows and what you want them to understand next. That helps determine where the story begins, which facts deserve space and how to end without forcing a sales pitch.
For each value you want to mention, find an example of a decision it affected. If you value ease of use, what did you simplify? If you value careful service, what can a customer actually expect? Give the writer the observable action behind the phrase. Avoid adding a sweeping promise unless it is a commitment your business is prepared to meet. The story can be warm and specific without overstating your reach.
Keep the scope clear as the story develops
Review the first draft for factual accuracy, then for emphasis. You may want one turning point to carry more weight or a sentence to sound less formal. Collect feedback from the person responsible for the brand’s facts before using the two included revisions. Revisions stay within the agreed topic and direction; replacing the audience or rewriting the business positioning can require a separate discussion.
The package covers a written story for one brand and one topic. It does not automatically include interviews, specialist research, translation, a full brand strategy or website design. Design, site building and publishing are separate. You can use completed work for the agreed purpose, with confidentiality and rights requirements agreed before starting. For multiple brands, larger volume or collaboration, email support@grapheme.studio about Team & enterprise.
A closer look at the sample
The bookshop’s character appears through an ordinary action: giving a reader room to change their mind. The sample illustrates tone and structure. It is a fictional brand introduction, not a customer project or evidence of business results.

Questions before you start
Can a new business have a brand story?
Yes. Start with your purpose, the problem you are addressing and decisions you have actually made. You do not need to supply a long history or customer results. We ask about missing facts before writing.
Is a founder interview included in $47?
Interviews require a separate discussion. The Standard package lists one brand story up to 1,000 words, three title options and two revisions. You can begin the inquiry with rough notes and confirmed facts.
Does the sample describe a real customer?
No. North Window Books is an original sample for a fictional bookshop. It shows the writing’s tone and structure, not a customer endorsement or a business result.
Is this a complete brand strategy package?
The listed package is one written brand story for one brand and topic. Broader positioning work, translation and major changes need a separate discussion. A shorter introduction is available through the $17 Basic writing package.
