Some stories begin with a character; others begin with a place, an impossible rule or an ending you can already see. You do not need every part before asking for an outline. Tell us what is fixed, what can change and where you are stuck. A useful planning brief might explain that the central relationship works but the middle has no consequence, or that the premise is clear but the ending feels unearned.
Separate the events you want from the reason they matter. A chase, a discovery or an argument becomes a story beat when it changes a choice, a relationship or the cost of continuing. If every episode returns the protagonist to the same situation, more events will not necessarily fix the problem. Use the brief to identify what should be different by the time the reader reaches the end.
What the $67 outline contains
English story planning Standard includes a logline, three characters and a five-episode outline, up to 1,500 words, for $67 USD. It includes two revisions and a listed turnaround of five workdays. Workdays start the day after your materials and direction are confirmed; weekends and public holidays are excluded. You receive editable DOCX and TXT files. We confirm scope, price and payment details by email before work starts.
This is a planning package, not a complete novel or five finished episodes. The outline gives you a structure to develop into prose. If you need an opening scene as well, Premium is $117 USD for a logline, three characters, a five-episode outline and an opening scene, up to 3,000 words total, with two revisions and seven workdays. Basic is $47 USD for a logline, two characters and a one-page synopsis up to 700 words, with one revision and three workdays.
Use the sample to judge the structure
In The Map of Unfinished Doors, Ada’s wish for a permanent survey office post conflicts with protecting people the official map has erased. Fin needs a map but distrusts written records. Merrit wants to seal the doorways because she believes they threaten the city’s flood barriers. The characters create pressure on one another before the outline adds more incidents.
Follow the five-episode plan in the sample and ask what each episode changes. A concealed discovery becomes a partnership, then a breach of trust, then a problem that requires cooperation. That sequence demonstrates how a plan can connect events through consequences. It is an original sample rather than a promise that your story must use the same structure, genre or character relationships. Bring your own constraints and the parts of the premise you want to protect.
Make the review about story choices
When reviewing an outline, explain the effect you want. Perhaps a character should face a harder choice, the reader should learn a rule earlier, or an ending should resolve a relationship as well as the main conflict. Point to the episode where the problem appears and describe why it feels wrong. Those comments are more useful than asking for more excitement without identifying what is missing.
The two included revisions stay within the agreed topic and direction. A new premise, additional cast or a different episode count needs discussion. Planning does not include illustration, publication or a complete manuscript. Check your rights to any supplied material, and agree confidentiality or rights requirements before starting. You can use completed work for the agreed purpose and continue developing the story from the delivered files.
A closer look at the sample
The logline identifies a protagonist, a task, opposition and a consequence. The complete sample also shows three characters, a five-episode outline and an opening scene. The opening scene belongs to the Premium scope; Standard covers the plan.
